Stories of Survival (3rd – 5th Grades)

Immerse your students in the lives of Native Americans as they were before and after European contact. IAIS educators share various visual and tactile resources to guide the discussion about how Eastern Woodlands Natives adapted to their changing environment. Students will learn the importance of working together for the sake of the community—driving innovation through knowledge of natural resources in order to thrive, and how that knowledge can benefit everyone today.
